Oooooh, careful! That's not a drawing, it's a render. I've had someone look at my renders and start going all dazzle-eyed...the thing that takes skill is the posing, composition, and lighting (and sometimes the textures). The conformation is all taken care of.

=] All of the realistic ones were done using Poser, a 3d rendering program. Poser SEEMS easier, because it takes care of the anatomy for you, but since you get to make your own textures, do custom poses, and fiddle with angles and lighting, it really isn't as easy as it looks. =] And it really gives you a new perspective on drawing regular stuff.

Yes. Yes Moony does. I almost did it from the backwards angle, with an upthrust hoof in the "camera" but although Moony wanted ANGRY I'm not sure Moony wanted furious. =]
