Colors psychedelic enough?

Yay for misleading titles!

I know it's really random, but the idea came to me when I was remembering a poem I wrote (and, sadly, lost) in middle school about the biggest Hershey's kiss in the world. I even drew a picture of it back then.

And then yesterday I thought I'd show some person's expression as he found this amazing chocolate monstrosity. I've been needing practice in facial expression anyway.

Then I started thinking about how the characters in Avatar have never eaten chocolate. I've never seen them eat anything close to candy. Just stewed sea prunes, fruit and fruit pies, seal jerky... you get the idea. No chocolate! What would life be like without chocolate?! So I decided to give them a gift. And Sokka's expressions are so much fun, I had to draw him.

How would Sokka come to the conclusion that this large brown object was food if he'd never seen chocolate before? Beats me. My logic is that he sees food everywhere, even in a cave covered in yellow slime, as seen in The Desert.

And I still have no idea how I was able to draw this. I used a couple pictures as color and clothes design and face shape reference, but before now, I've never been able to draw in this style. I think I've just seen too much Avatar in the past few weeks...
