[EDIT] HOORAY! got help from someone and finally got a significantly better photo! so now i'm making you all see it again because i want to show off properly care

yesterday didn't go remotely as planned but i finally finished this picture and now i have a story!
i went to an art lab that was supposed to happen (and didn't) in the afternoon and wound up chatting with the one other guy who was there (while working on this drawing). long story short, instead of doing ANY of the things i should have been doing i went on a very Ill-Advised Adventure. it was fun, i had fun, and except for one bitching hangover i am fine; i don't regret the experience but it was a pretty potent lesson in taking better care of myself, or at least the hangover resulting from a few too many beers on an empty stomach is. also i lost two days this weekend to said Ill-Advised Adventure and the resulting hangover, so i'm not looking forward to trying to cram everything i should have done today and yesterday into tomorrow. but hey, finished drawing!

that i couldn't get a decent photo of to save my life. if anyone has any tips and tricks for photographing or otherwise documenting oversize drawings (this sketchbook is too big for my scanner even if this pic wasn't a full spread) i am all ears.
