I meant to edit and post this one a while back, but never got the time to. I just happened to run across it, and have time to edit it at the same time, so here you go! I love the feel of this one. When I was shooting this, it was a GORGEOUS day in a tiny village near Garmisch, and the fall leaves were at the peak of their colors. It was so beautiful, but then this scraggy looking dog appeared from around the corner of one of the woodcarvers' shops, and he just looked so sad. I'm sure he belonged to one of the shopkeepers, seeing how he was very well-fed and groomed, and animal abuse in Germany is all but sin. It made me feel a bit melancholy, but I just had to take a few shots of him. This one IS a TEENY bit out of focus, but the expression on his face is just so sad, so I think this is my favorite out of all of them.
