Description EDIT: Went ahead and cleaned up some of the white pixely stuff noted by * wolfsbane83 and made him more pale noted by ~thenonartist . I think he looks more vampirey now.

'Tis for . I decided to give it a try drawing Spike from Buffy in DP style, and when I draw a guy in this style, I stick to Danny's face. It's the only face I know how to draw. I had a few minor setbacks with the hair, but in the end, I like it. Oddly enough, when I look at him, he looks like Spike--of course, I can't say the same for whom everyone else thinks he looks like.

Spike's shirt was inspired from one I saw him wearing in a picture, same for the pants. The shoes, well, I couldn't draw boots to save my life, so I found a pic of him wearing these kinds of shoes. Voila, there you go.

Coloring and outlining took about 8 hours, give or take a snack break. Hope you like, ~thenonartist ! Be sure to save some of Spike for me.

Well, I knew who it was from the thumbnail. Very Spike-like, I like the detail down to the scar in the eyebrow. That's the mark of a true fan, I tell you what. Nicely done!

Firstly, sorry for the late reply. Been on vacation for some time.

Anywho... I'm very glad to know you could tell it was Spike from the thumbnail. I had such a hard time making it look like him, from the hair and especially the outfit (since he's not sporting his leather jacket). I've drawn some recent pics of him and changed the hair a bit 'cos I don't like how it's drawn here (yes, I'm so picky).

Thank you so much for the comment; it certainly made me feel good knowing the pic carried the essence of Spike.

Ah, jeez! That is peachy, friggin peachy. Spike DP style...great by itself, but Spike givin' us all the finger, it could'nt get ANY better! The background makes me dizzy-like and I don't know why.

'Bugger Off' I think that's the most English phrase imaginable, and it warmed my heart to see it. This picture is great, everyone loves Spike (especially the early one when he such a bad accent) and if they don't, well they should.
It really does look like him, not only the artwork but the attitude!

Thanks so much for the comment. I think I missed out on the episode where he had a bad accent, well, one from the early days. But maybe it'll show one soon. Glad you're able to see Spike in this. I'm still not sure it looks like him. The hair and eyebrows work, but the outfit, eh, I was too lazy to give him a trenchcoat. Maybe next time.

Haha, when I was drawing it, I decided flipping someone off was the best pose. I couldn't figure out any other way to work with the hand, so I did that. 12.50? What are you doing up at that time. You should be sleeping.

I love the shoes. They remind me of ones I have, except they're black and hell to get into. They give me heel blisters to put all other blisters to shame, but I still love them. Ooo, pester your parents! They'll give in sooner or later.

You know, it reminds me of Draco's too. You don't need help, hon... if you do, I do too. We could get help together.

Sorry, Spike does that to me, one glance from a poster and I go weak at the knees... And I gotta tell ya Whitie, I'm lovin this pic!! The title caught me off guard for a minute, but when I saw the piccy itself I wasn't as shocked. Loved the way you worded it though!

You got him down just right! His angelic blue eyes, that lush snowy hair, that deathly pale appearance, even the shaven eyebrow (which I think makes him look even more hot! ) and that pose just screams 'let's go kick butt!'

Once again, you've managed to outdo your own self with everything. The background is just the right shade of blue to lift Spikey off the page and he looks ready to pound the hell outta anyone who gets on his bad side!! Gotta this!!! Way to go Whitie!

He sure is. *_* He's so much hotter than Xander and even Angel. There's just something about that white hair, the accent, and his jawline. Red-blooded male hottness? Mmm, most certainly.

Hehe, no problem! He does the same thing to me, well, he and Hans. I just have a huge thing for wolves and werewolves. That reminds me, I should buy a Spike poster, if I know where to look.

The title did, eh? Yeah, it did that to quite a few people, I just couldn't think of one. I know "Bugger off" is British for "F- off" and since he was giving the finger, I thought it perfect.

Thanks so much for your well thought out comment and for faving. You always honor me with such kindness. I'm glad he looks a lot like Spike. I had trouble with his hair and pose. Should've given him a jacket, but I can't draw and/or highlight leather to save my life. That eyebrow is probably my favorite feature, even if James (Spike) got it after being mugged. Poor guy.

And the paleness came out great. I actually had to make him more pale and reupload 'cos he looked a bit like me (pale but not as pale as a vampire).

You're too sweet, you know that? ^_^ I try real hard with each piece, trying to work with dynamic poses. They're hard but worth it in the end. And you like the bg, too? Awesome! I just drew an oval and messed with it in PSP7 to get it that way. The dark blue really does make him seem to pop out. Never noticed that before.
