This is Coco, my gerbil's cage. This cage is a 20 gal glass tank with the screen cover with the hole (I cut a hole) to let my gerbil go up then down by using the long ladder. Add a high rise wire cage on top of the screen cover from 10 gal glass tank that my gerbils used to live in the 10 gal tank. I use wires on high rise cage and screen cover together make sure my gerbils would not escape. La! I made very big cage for my gerbils.
I gave 20 gal tank for my two gerbils, Madison and Coco at last Christmas. But... Madison gone in March. 
I miss her a lot. Now, a big cage belongs to Coco. Today, I have another two new gerbils called Chipego and Dalea. They lives in 10 gal tank with cover screen. I just add wire cage on cover screen from the box that I brought from the pet store (not from 20 gal tank, it stays.) I will show you a picture of two cages as later ok? Chipego/Dalea and Coco are not together. Two is in one cage. One in one cage. Clear? yep. Adding high rise cage on the cover screen is my idea.

I just lost my last fish to illness, been battling Hydra in the tank water for months which is no fun, going to stick my last 2 shrimp in my iso tank and clean, disinfect and throw everything anyway and start again with a new cycle the reintroduce the shrimp and maybe get a Fighting fish for the tank once the levels are normal.
