Where other family members might have tolerated each other, or had a general dislike of a few siblings from other timelines. Grimhilde's children had a massive case of sibling rivalry. Worst case being from Siegfried, son of Chernabog. Most of his siblings were vain and knew maybe a little bit of magic or alchemy, Siegfried had a demon form. This naturally set his brothers and sister on edge. Though he was the youngest of the family, he rarely joked when it came to the subject of death.

Evie was the second youngest, shrewd, flirty, and superficial. She was a traitor in the family due to her past timeline, so most of her brothers didn't give her the time of day or respect. She's terrified of her demon half brother. Something about his presence makes her feel sick. Any ounce of courage or witty comebacks would drain from her and she'd get out of his way.

Epel was the third youngest, quite and private. He was used getting pushed around by his more uptight and bossy siblings. Usually he was very stoic when it came to being around his family. But even he admitted he didn't feel safe around his younger brother.

Rook was a few years older than his younger siblings. Supportive, vain, and likes pretty things and being surrounded by them. Anything less so wouldn't do. Despite some condescending impressions or comments he generally got along with his brothers and sister. Whenever a conflict arose he'd be there to add a snarky comment and laugh about it afterwards. But he came to realize Siegfried didn't like it. Being older her tried to push him around.... Big mistake.

Vil was second in line, self centered, narcissistic, and dainty. He believes he's the most beautiful of his siblings and will not take no for an answer. But as you guessed it, the death glares of his baby brother would make his stomach turn sour.

Finally, first in line was Apple Poison. Arguably the most mature, charming, and composed of his siblings. He was made from a poisoned apple and took on human form. He never goes anywhere without his own apple tempting others for a taste. He's watchful of his brothers and siblings and has to put up with their constant drama and conflict. In the past arguments were over petty affairs, looks, dresses, etc. But then Siegfried kept going on and on about the throne. They were all considered royals despite their allegiances, just like the rules of old it was traditional for the oldest to gain the throne and their mother's power.

Rook would tease Siegfried about how being young made him less likely to get anything of real worth. This didn't sit well with the young prince. So he conspired a plan to find a way to kill all his siblings. Poison seemed best.... maybe even fire. That's how his father would do it. He went about attempting their lives, tampering with their food, lacing their makeup, and even attacking them if that didn't work. In his eyes, they were all in his way. It was bad enough being considered second best to Damien in the eyes of his demonic father. But being among six other siblings in competition for the crown... Something sinister had to be done.
