Felt like taking a swing on the 3 new rambunctious cubs from that video-- now aged up. Plus Mheetu's son has a boyfriend in the form of Isaam while Isaam's brother Jirani is with Safia.

Faraji tagged along with his parents and Kopa back to Priderock, there he discovered how important his father and newly discovered cousin was. As a result Faraji was excited to get to know his extended family. He was embraced by his aunt Queen Nala and was honored to be a part of the royal tree... even if he himself was a prince. Still more importantly he found some new friends around his age to bond with. Zuri's brothers Isaam and Jirani had grown up, still rough and tough but semi wiser compared to their cub years. Plus Tiifu's sister Safia was always there to knock their skulls together. The trio took interest in the hippie-like lion from the jungle and the group swapped stories about all their crazy adventures. Jirani had a tenancy to exaggerate already tall tales only for his mate Safia to pop his bubbles in a play jab or two. But Faraji found himself drawn closer to Isaam who seemed to like sharing jokes just as much as he did. Soon the two were seen together quite often.

The trio shared their praises about Kion and all his work to keep the circle of life in balance. Faraji in the meantime brought them up to speed about how brave and bold Kopa was, since he had saved him on many occasions in their youth. So by the time word got out of Kion's crimes against the outsiders came forward and Kopa and Vitani had to take him down, the trio were devastated. Kion was like a mentor to them, so discovering he was behind the attempted assassination of the newly dubbed King Kovu made them lose faith in their friend. Isaam took it the hardest, he was hoping to join the guard someday and now it was disbanded by Vitani who removed the controversial position. Faraji comforted him, though his heart was heavy knowing he was to return to the mountains with Kopa and Vitani as the new alliance king and queen. He brought up the idea that maybe he could come back with him and maybe be mates, he knew it was fast and bold of him to make this offer but he had to. Isaam was taken aback, he had never been outside the pridelands before. It made him scared.... but also deeply excited. He embraced Faraji and told him he'd follow him on wherever adventure he was on. Faraji was nearly moved to tears. Jirani and Safia overheard everything and they joined in. No way were they slipping up, they also wanted to see new lands and start a family-- and now their future cubs would have two doting uncles to watch over them. As a result Kopa returned with his mate Vitani, Mheetu, his mate Malaika, Vitani's former guard members, Dotty & Spotty, Faraji, Isaam, Safia and Jirani. It was time for the mountain pride to grow.
