I had this simple little idea in my sketch book about the ugly ducking growing up to be the loch ness monster. I thought it would work best in this simple design. I hope you guys like it.Thanks for looking.

I remember being the lead i the musical Honk! which is the musical version of the Ugly Duckling and I imagine that this would be very similar to that story and would probably be an excellent story on its own!!

...a premise almost Lovecraftian in nature, really. Duck gives birth to an ugly, scaly thing which soon outgrows its family and becomes the terror of Scotland.
That'd make a good children's book!

so i guess annie thinks you did this for her, but at least it's obvious that U.D. IS in fact a monster, and not a purple duck :}
