Your colors are very nice, soft, nostalgic and loucious! The highlights are especially mouthwatering. I would love to be able to color as well as you. I notice that you do not have any extremely dark areas in your work so there is little contrast. It does give it a definate "dusty" flavor (in a good sense). Do you ever do works with a higher degree of contrast, or is this a part of your overall style?

This is really gorgeous! I love the coloring in it and I think having the lineart be that brownish color really adds to the overall warmth of the pic. I like the idea of using a different color for your linework. Great use of highlights, I love the pose, and I love her hair!

I like the colours involved int his but it would be nice to see more depth in the background. it seems a bit flat. granted tthis may be my own perception from the girl being detailed..

yeah, it was merely supposed to be a splash of colour, mainly to set off the subject in front. the art trade was for a speciffic character, so that was the focus.

okay.. yeah I get caught up in detail and I saw the tree and assumed that it was a background.. I think however if you added a tinge of blue or grey green to the white paper, ti may excuentuate the chareter more..
