Finally I got to finish my entry for the Postmortem´s festival illustration contest. At the end, it ended up looking way different that the one I was planning.

For this contest, we were asked to draw our zombified version of Guadalupe Posada´s Catrina. Postmortem [link] is a festival done at my city (Aguascalientes, México) in which we commemorate the horror side of celebrating the actual Day of the death. For this Festival, they do illustration, photo, comic, and shortfilm contests. Besides that, other series of events are carried out: they show horror films, they do concerts, costume parties, etcetera.

This year, Mexican celebrate Catrina´s 100 birthday - so, what a good way to cellebrate by doing a drawin this time!
