There is a 2 in the curves of the figure, haha - it wasn't a conscious decision to put it there, i just noticed it after i finished and stared at the thumbnail and boy could i not think of a fitting title at all. I love this portrait (and this character still <3)! Really like how you did the mane and this whole realistic look.
My eyes are little confused by this blurry background (as well as the foreground seems to be blurry). Also it adds an interesting effect.

Self-made brushes!Β Brushes (a preview) Β - about 90% of it is made with the Dirt/Grass brush. I made it simply by putting a load of dots onto the canvas and then saved it as a brush.

I have never seen a horse with teeth like that, altough I did once know one who wished she did! I'm not sure that I like the way you've drawn it (with the teeth I mean), although I'm pretty sure that by the time I've finished writing this comment I'll love it!

Ah well that's fine~ This is his anatomy ( www.deviantart.com/whiteraven9β¦ )Β so it is how it is. I initially didn't want him to flash his teeth in this picture though so i also wondered if it just overcomplicates the picture or enhances itΒ Β But this is the first time i painted him realistically so i couldn't resist.

Being the process of this on tumblr was really interesting! It always appreciate the time spent when people take liberties and show them, just shows another part of the thinking side of the process than the result. I love his design..!
