Pegasus, Walter, Valter, Salvo, fake horse, passable antagonist, stronk widard, reverse-furry. Triangles: The Character. Polar bear in a snowstorm. A visual representation of the INTJ. Undercooked noodle. Sir wobblesalot. Sad pony. Stick-up-my-ass Johnny. Stage 4 resting bitchface. The only thing that has more nicknames than him is my turtle (my turtle has cuter nicknames though).Multipurpose reference sheet. I elaborated more on the shapeshifting because that seemed to confuse people the most earlier. The entire bottom right box is more of an addendum than a vital part. The detailed texture description of the clothes is there to challenge myself; that stuff is optional stuff
Pegasus will be the antagonist character in a mid-length comic i'm slowly developing.

I have been looking for this for literal WEEKS. I've been creating a character and I thought 'this would be the perfect design inspiration for his foil' and so I went looking, and I couldn't find it ANYWHERE. Let me just tell you that finding this is not only the biggest relief, but reading all the nicknames you have for him made the search so, so worth it. I just recently found this character and finally took the time to read everything on this character sheet and MY GOD I am in so much love right now. Like, legit, I scream mentally every time I look back at this character. He's so pleasing to look at, his story, his motives, personality (as seen from the pictures), and his WORLD is just 10/10 BEAUTIFUL.
The reference is amazing too, and has really nice balance between pictures and art, finished art and sketchy art (though Pegasus is already white so the sketchy art vs finished art isn't much of a "downgrade" in ones viewing pleasure lol. But don't get me wrong, I also absolutely adore your sketches too).
I haven't been so hyped about another person's OC in ages. But like, I'm absolutely addicted to white coated, white hair, winged male OCs right now so as soon as I saw this dude's thumbnail, I'm like

YES, PEGASUS! His human form corresponds so well. I like his ears and teeth and facial expressions, and your choice of the knight. He's the antagonist? What about Holly? You have a beautiful, smooth style that reminds me of artfully blended, creamy chocolate. So satisfying. Also, where do dragons come into this? And is the title Latin? Why is it 'dei' (bc plural here)? Your tumblr is wondrous too btw (sorry for the ramble and question dump).

Holly is the protagonist, Pegasus is the antagonist - not a villain (although he is really pushing it sometimes), just the character in direct opposition to the protagonist. I'm not sure what you mean about dragons coming into this but the gods are dragons, i elaborated on that a bit further down in the comments: comments.deviantart.com/1/7300… The gods will have nothing much to do with the story of the comic, tho. The title is the modification of this phrase: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quis_ut_… ? He just gives me Michael vibes (or a hybrid Michael/Lucifer) so i named the sheet that way (the wings, him wanting to be a knight of the gods, a strong desire to kick hostile dragons in the mouth, being such a momma's boy, and so on, oh also edit: the Lucifer vibes are being pretty mad at humans and wanting to impress the gods). It's dei because Tetra has 4 gods.

Thanks for clarifying everything; I didn't realise the gods were dragons. I had a look at Tau again and was wondering if all the stars are hand-drawn? I really like his scales and iridiscent dorsal fin and his swag moustache. Looking forward to the comic!

I don't advertise it very much that they are dragons The stars are not from photos or some stock image, if that's what you mean. The smaller stars were drawn with the basicest photoshop brush set to scatter, the larger ones were drawn without scatter. The fact that his "true" spirit form uses more birds elements than regular horses is hella cool.
I also gotta say that your reference sheet are a delight to the eyes, those detaisl, and background mixed in there.
Question, I feel like the blood vial of many spirits must be something quite powerful, what does he uses it for?

Since spirits don't know why the tetran gods don't respond to them anymore, they worry that Tetra might be entirely unprotected. Spirits always used to help out in defending Tetra from the ferals but nowadays they too seem to slack, and that makes Pegasus worried and angry. He figured he could try to get strong enough to defeat a feral god if there was ever a need, since every other spirit seems to not be vigilant or in-shape anymore, he thinks he can only count on himself to do the job. He doesn't know if his stick could pack a punch big enough to hurt a god, but he hopes so~

Other than that, do the Tetran gods used to live somewhere? I'm guessing that Valter has been trying to find them, so they probably aren't that accessible through his plane...

The comic i'm doing with him is set a few centuries after the human race appeared. So that long. Approximately, between 150-300 years. He would have picked his current human form up about 50-100 years after what spirits call year 1 (the year people appeared suddenly).
The Tetran gods used to float around like Tau, in their solar system, and descend under the atmosphere when they had something to add to/tweak in Tetra. So there's nothing much a spirit could do to physically find the gods. The furthest any being ever got from Tetra is their big moon. So pretty much every spirit hopes that the gods are still around but somehow hidden from sight (they used to frequently see them through the sky). Valter thinks his best bet for finding them is to find out what happened right before the 1st day of the 1st year. To elaborate, that day every spirit woke up on the ground, disoriented, as if something knocked them all out simultaneously, and what they woke up to was the sight of a civilization that was not there before. Plus later they realized that the gods never appeared anywhere anymore.

I don't know yet, i'm first doing a few shorter test minicomics to determine what would work for me. But i'm planning for it to be digital/free and people who want to support me financially can buy a pdf or a printed version. Personally when i read comics/manga i prefer it to be released one chapter at a time. That requires a lot of patience on the artist's part but I might be able to do it, since i managed to keep all art of Pegasus and Holly offline for 4 years? I'll see after i'm done with the minicomics.
