Or, it could be whatever kind of web you like. I just happen to love Norse mythology. Guess he would find it interesting, too.

He's, obviously, Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds.

Second attempt to paint a watercolor Spencer. First one was awful because I used too many hues (no, you're NOT going to see that. Never. ) Too much time I don't use watercolors, anyway, so I'm not totally happy about this piece. The original is rather big - 30x45 cm, more or less - so I had to merge three scans. And as usual, scanners don't get watercolors right.

All painted with ultramarine blue, carmine red and deep yellow, variously blended. And salt. I know, I used too much of that in the hair.

Thank you. I use salt also when applying base color for my acrylic paintings. Works pretty well especially on wood. ^^

Yeah, I guess it could be a water reflection! Never thought of it, but could be. I started drawing things like that a pair of years ago, after I realized painting in a more realistic way was boring me to death.

Oh well, if you like anything apart from vampire shows, I strongly suggest you watch CM, it's really good. The Wyrd concept comes from Norse mythology and has nothing to do with the show or the character, it's simply the reason I paint those web-like lines connecting elements. ^__^ And thank you.

Yah, I like a lot of different stuff. Though, anything that has to do with horses, vampires, or criminal investigations will probably get my attention. Is Criminal Minds anything similar to CSI?

I think it's better... The main characters are FBI profilers. The team usually is hunting serial killers and to catch them they have to understand why they are doing what they do. You see a lot of crime scenes, but they aren't looking for physical evidence (like that single hair or blood drip that CSI teams always find somewhere). And there are quite a lot of action scenes, too. Agent Morgan's specialty seems to be kicking doors open....

La mia estrema pignoleria, ecco quale... Diciamo che c'Γ¨ poco contrasto nei capelli, dovevo lasciare gli spazi un po' piΓΉ chiari. Per il resto sono abbastanza soddisfatta. Al primo tentativo avevo usato troppi colori (un po' a casaccio pure) e il risultato Γ¨ che stonavano atrocemente, poi mi sono ricordata che Γ¨ proprio per quello che di solito ne uso solo tre o quattro
