The brightness of the “face in the sky” obscures the identities of the two figures below with heavy diffused light. The figure on the left seems to be standing their ground as the figure on the right seems to be ready to attack with some sort of knife. Because of the feathers on her staff and the feathers in the over watching figures hair, as well as the blue beads, the figure on the left seems to be intertwined with the over watching figure in some way, maybe religious,. The over watching figure seems to be watching in suspense rather than judgment and I think her hair seems to reflect his. The confrontation is interesting, and the figure on the left has her back turned to the figure in the sky. The cross-hatching gives some great perspective and depth. I don`t mind the lined paper so much as I mind the holes, I find them rather distracting. I like the comparison in the hair of the two figures on the ground. The figure on the left has flowing hair where the figure on the right has very thin, and dirty looking hair.

I love the colors <3
The silhouettes of the characters are very dramatic too <3 And I absolutely love the crosshatching for the shadows <3
