"Will you stop shaking like a leaf? There is nothing here: we met not a single creature since we entered this cave""W-well maybe the beings will crawl out when we go to sleep?" I muttered under my breath.
To that was only a slight response of chuckling from the man sitting across the fire.
"You are such a coward, you have no courage at all."
"No courage? Maybe i'm just not an idiot to underestimate this place"
With that word I looked around again: The light from the fire danced on the cave walls, creating all sorts of creatures in my mind.
Thought, i didn't see the creature quietly lurking in the shadows...
The Tao De Ching states that courage is derived from love ("慈 loving 故 causes 能 ability 勇 brave") and explains: "One of courage, with audacity, will die. One of courage, but gentle, spares death. From these two kinds of courage arise harm and benefit."
