True monsters, but lived interesting lives and each dies interesting. One free but redeemed in certain ways, and the other no less bloody than either deserved. Very far from heroes but a fascinating trial. That little boy deserved the world, but it was robbed from him. So that makes the situation has tragic as fascinating obviously. A young teen dying alone and terrified and in pain, by a family member and family friend for the sake of “experimenting...” Too bad the name of victims never get remembered unless they get exploited in horrific ways by the “curious” public like Elizabeth Smart, Nicole Brown, Ron Goodman, and JonBénet Ramsey.
Everything about this case though is so unlike others. There’s many evil people who wish to be like these two, but there’s something so much more peculiar and authentic and almost relatable (a very deep part in all of us, not relating to killing but the “Superman” desire), that doesn’t come close to the Harris & Kebloid and Dahmer types...
This is the type of case you that’s twisted and literary in every way. It doesn’t even feel like real life in a lot of ways.
Good work.
