the background took longer than the bird xD
he is my favourite of the 3, I know some people like him better as a "she"... sorry to disapoint but this one is a boy.
maybe I'll draw him again, he's fun to draw and color.

Ahh, he's so pretty! This picture, the pose and all, is a lot like how I pictured him looking when sitting in the Seafoam Islands in Red/Blue/Yellow/Firered/Leafgreen. And the gradual change in color was done really well; it's not choppy or anything, which is something I have issues with when using colored pencils. >.>
That background is epicsauce. o.o I'm too indecisive to make backgrounds for my drawings, so hats off to you, my friend.

Oh no i like it the way it is ^_^ You can definately see the owl influence, but i think if it looked any more like an owl then it would lose its uniqueness. Here it looks like anatomically correct to a bird but not to a specific species.
I like it but if you want to draw it differently then you should do what you think is best
