Description A creature I made up while trying out brushes I got working in Krita again.
Cat meets gazelle, hehe.
Kizzy-i-Keinstein , showed me some of the wonderful worlds of arpg some weeks ago
Very impressive and complex
To much info for me to just dive into without testing the water.
So I thought, while sketchadoodling, lets create my own creature XD
I name it a Furelle.

Woah, that's a really unusual mixture! I really like this original idea to use these animals as a base.

His eyesight is so empty and eye looks like an emerald placed there instead of the real eye (that's why his eyesight seems so empty perhaps, at least for me). That's how it seems for me. It gives sooo many ideas to creates stories around .

I really love the way how you used greyish purple for shading. What more brushstrokes of shades look like aquarell (what is so hard to achieve with normal digital strokes) .

Great job on fur - it looks very natural and soft!

His belly is very interesting - both in colour and "material". For me it looks more like scales or hard naked skin. Maybe he lives in the area of thorned grass or something, that's why he needs it. Oh my, soooo many ideas just looking at him ^_____^.

You know, looking at him and seeing how complicated and limiting are existing ARPGs (you have to follow design rules...) what about creating own? Such creature would be really nice for it. Browsing your older entries I saw that once you considered making an own group, what about mixing your group idea with own species? We don't need creating a physical group and just a few people (even 2) would be enough .

They are in some way opposites.
Hunter and the hunted.
On the other hand, they got some similarities as well
Grace and speed, for example,

It was a rather quick painting/sketch so I did not put to much detail in.
I'd think of the eye as like a tigers eye, like the gem?
Rather dark in it's base color but it would light up depths when seen from the right angle.
As deer and gazelles have this very dark brown eyes which are generally kinda cute but also are not read easily.
As cat's got all those diversity in their eye colors. gleaming in the light.
So much expression in those.
Dark gem colored eyes, gleaming to show what they are up to seemed to be a good combo XD

The belly and neck indeed are some kind of naked scale-like skin.
Not like a cat or gazelle.
But I felt that those two are mostly an inspiration and not just a mix.
Such a belly felt like it belonged there
I guess it could be pink or darker, brown or blackish or with a pattern as well.
It indeed is like an armor.
To protect that vulnerable belly carried on such long legs
Also, the hoof are of course very handy to climb hills and mountains if needed.
Did you notice the claws at the heel?
Those are a way to defend themselves

Awesome that you mentioned maybe making our own little group
I secretly was thinking about the same thing when I was creating this XD
Not to complex and with can't do.
We'd just describe specifics of the species and then anyone who would like could design a personal one
Maybe we could make up a place/world they'd live in.
And maybe we could make up some other species to live in the world with them
Like that idea?

Oh exactly! Hunter and hunted. I really love your indepth analyses.

Doesn't matter it's just sketch. Your nicely caught the idea and that was the point of your work ^___^.

That's true that all horse-like animals has dark eyes. I wonder why, why it matters for them and why cats can have so many hues from very light to... just dark? I can't recall cat's eyes which were really dark... brown, grey, blue - just middle dark, but never that much dark like in horse-like animals... interesting. I never before payed attention to such details. But I also never was good zoologist ^^'...

Oh, you're absolutely right to feel free to add other details. Basic animals are just inspiration, not only true must-be. It is great when imagination finds it's own way and is creative .

Ah, now I see this claw. Interesting!

That is so great that we think alike! Such group might be really inspiring, educative and funny ^^. What more it would be tailored for our needs. I will write down my ideas and send you via Note when it's ready. So we can discuss them with no pressure or hurry . I really like your ideas and I surely include them in my proposal ^___^. Just need some time (I have really hard and busy this and next week, I wonder how my health will bear it... just hope it won't end up with next health collapse, it's very unstable now and stress doesn't help , I just mention it in case I'd disappear for some time again...).

Valentyn, you met him in a picture before has brown/slightly orange eyes.
They do not reflect as much light as general cat irises and when not in full sunlight they seem almost black
Gives him a kind but not very catlike expression

When I thought about the how they would use their hoof and ankle claw in 'real' life I figured
that the ankle claw should be a bit more down, dropped to be of any use.
Also, I thought the split hoof ends could end in a sharpened point.
They would be a combination of a way to tackle uneven and hard grounds combined with a weapon to hunt and defend

Very curious about what your thoughts and ideas will be.
Do not feel rushed tho.
You need to take good care of yourself.
Just do what feels good and not to straining.

*Big healing huggles*

Thank you.
Glad you like it
Somehow I found the features belonging to each other XD
Kind of funny since it are such contrasting species as well
