I felt like I had to describe what it was as his little wings are fold and I guess not many people imagine dragons with fur.But he just came up from my mind and he was furry plus my cat Valentyn was curled up next to me when I was drawing.
Valentyn's face reminds me of Falkor the lucky dragon so I guess that's where this little furball is related too.

I think that the depth came cause I just let it appear
Brushed softly where I thought there was a shape
Could see him become more clearly with every move I made and there was no wrong as I didnt imagine him
till just then when he appeared

Your response reminded me of: TIPS HOW TO DRAW MONA LISA 1) make a circle 2) make the rest of it ~ a wild Mona Lisa face appears, while some lines of the construction can be still seen ~

Hmm lets try that different.
Clouds, you know the recognizing figures in clouds?
Well you just start making some clouds but in the colours you want
And then you recognize what they represent but you actually can make them more so 
You might be not certain what they would truly have to be but because you give them gentle pushes with the tone and touch that you just know it has to be,
it becomes clearer
And there is all of a sudden that gleam in those sleepy eyes, a minty green hue they seem to have.
His snout almost feels moist and if you watch close you can see his breaths almost ruffle through is wild sturdy but o so fluffy fur.
Appearantly there was a baby dragon in the clouds XD

I ALWAYS think so hard about what I'm doing !!! I'm not very well acquainted with techniques in real life painting, so when it comes to digital art, it gets even harder. It's really not true that digital art is easier! Just the opposite, real life painting gives the possibility to chear but I've figured that in digital art basic knowledge is really needed because otherwise is remains to the results of the program Paint

What is easier is that you got so many tools and ways to make stuff but then ofcourse,
you have to find out what are the ways and tools that you like XD
And to find with all those choices is not easy at all
Still, my way of creating that fluffy thing is not bound to digital painting,
I think you could use that way with almost everything
