Three cheers for JC Leyendecker! Also, Charlie Harper and David Lynch would make my list, too.

I struggled with putting that one in there. It's kind of embarrassing but seeing a movie of his at a young age definitely influenced me and my tastes so I figured I should cop to it.

I don't know much about Russ Meyer's films, but his influence IS far-reaching for sure. "Cantilevers" is one of my all time favorite descriptive terms for his breast requirements.
One day my dad saw a piece I was working on with breasts in it and he just stated plainly to my mom, "You were right. We did ween him to early."

Oh yeah, I totally want that book! It was put together by the guy on the bottom left on this chart, Rian Hughes. I've seen some of the pages online and it looks great. From what I've heard there is a ton of stuff in there that hasn't been widely seen in North America so I'm excited to see it.
Do this, it's a fun time waster that I don't think is a complete waste of time.

Yeah i saw the preview pages on someone's blog and i immediately ordered it. It is right up my alley and totally what i am in the mood for. Been craving stuff like this. I am pretty sure i saw there was alot of Coby Whitmore in there as well whom i like too. But a lot of it I have never seen before, and i am sure there is a ton in it that will blow my mind. From what the delivery status says it should be here tomorrow, so i will let you know what i fully think once i get it.
Yeah I downloaded the template and started already! ttysoon,

Wow, this is pretty cool. I think this would take me weeks to do something similar. Props for the Leonardi though. He should be one of the top 5 guys in the business. (in terms of respect)

Well this is cool as hell. I love Mary Blair's work. And I just discovered Al Parker sometime this last year but I was immediately taken with his stuff. Glad to see you're a Cosby fan too.

I learned all my fathering skills from Cosby and my Great Grandfather Ervin Alouishus Kelly. It was at my Granddaddy's house that I discovered Al Parker, in a discarded Famous Artist's Course binder. Mary Blair predates most of my influences! Small World blew my mind when I was 5! I hope more people do these, it was fun to look inside by remembering things and looking outside myself.
