Description I make my way to centre stage,
Red velvet curtains.
This is the night.
The night I must perform,
To not be a failure.
Wiping my sweating hands
Onto my ironed trousers,
I clear my throat
And carry on waiting.
Waiting to hear my name called,
And see it behind me in lights.
A swarm of watchers
Will eyeball my every move.
I must not fail.
This is my moment.
The curtains draw back.
