That happens every fucking time. (even more if you are fighting a huntsman sniper as Sniper Rifle Sniper.)

as for me, I just try to headshot him with a Huntsman (LOTS of skill and luck needed!) or I go Flaregun Pyro and set him on fire xDD

Once I get my spot, I'm a king at Sniper battles, I could bring in four kills a spot against other snipers, good times...

I wouldn't say I was particuarly good although my record is 19 kills in one life as a sniper, which was pretty good.... mostly though luck i believe.

I also had a succesful run into the enemy base as a Battle Sniper once, I was taking down guys left and right with my Kukri and SMG.

Bah, you need the PC version, I've always felt snipers just don't work as well on consoles.

You should meet my friend, it's like he's The End from MGS3 or something. We generally try to avoid playing games that feature sniper rifles when he's around, otherwise it's like rabbits to the slaughter, console or PC.
I'd probably be crap online anyway, what with my long history of console experience against only friends.

Well I can only speak for the PC version but it's actually pretty good for balancing different levels of experience since every class is weak to something so even an inexperienced heavy could annihilate a veteran soldier close up.
