Axel lingered at the fence of the roundpen while Quillan trained Wisp. He wanted to help as much as he could, but there wasn't a lot he could do for the moment; so he stuck around to watch, ready to step in with his shield just in case things went south. He found himself a bit amazed at how well the other dealt with the stallion's aggressive behaviors however, while making sure the horse didn't have any bad experiences with them. Axel never had to deal with a horse with problematic behaviors before, so he was learning a lot too.

Quillan quite enjoyed working with Wisp, even though he narrowly avoided being bitten at least five times. It was a fun challenge for him, teaching Wisp that he didn't need to attack or run away when someone was in the pen with him and getting him used to being handled. It was even more enjoyable with Axel around to help out and keep him company, even if he didn't really need any assistance.
