I'm still alive. This is for the funny...nothing redeeming about it. Always afraid to draw Miroku because I figured I couldn't make him look like anything but a walking STD.Much success!
I still adore this series...it's just too hard to resist teasing!
Will smudge and smooth out the lines later!

Yeah, this artwork just about sums up the manga drama.
I'm still wondering where the heck Kouga ran off to, again. I mean, if the manga (at the moment) is really the "final battle," I'm gonna be uber pissed if Kouga and his spiffy new (or now, old) weapon don't a piece of the action. >[

Has a secret suspicion that RT is pacing around her desk, furious that all her attempts to "de-cool" Sesshoumaru have failed. What next? Hair loss and a 15 year old's complexion? Oye.
Yes, I can handle anything....Naraku singing showtunes, Miroku vowing celibacy, Inuyasha declaring his secret lust for Jaken...ANYTHING...just don't kill Sesshoumaru.

I just hate how she's forcing the focus onto Inuyasha and his stupid sword. It's painfully obvious, and the most frustrating thing is that she doesn't have to do it like that. Hopefully this whole thing that's happening now will get Sesshoumaru to finally realize that he has to work with Inuyasha in order to get anywhere. If he doesn't relent with his overwhelming pride and prejudice, he is undoubtedly going to die.
My optimistic prediction is that Sesshoumaru will strike at this MoW's "Main Body" or whatever, while Inuyasha strikes at the physical body - and that will be the key to destroying it. Of course, if that happens, then the dark half of the Shikon no Tama will be gone...... so that wouldn't work for Naraku's evil plan.
Poor Sesshoumaru! I hope RT doesn't kill him!

I still can't shake my funny feeling that he's slated for death! I know, I know...this is probably his main moment o' glory and I should just shut the hell up! But like I said, I sometimes don't trust the storytelling!
But gasp...if this goes the way everyone keeps consoling me it's going (the way I'm desperately hoping it's going!), I may just fall over dead from fan-gasm of epic proportions!
If they fight together, really fight together as opposed to "Hey, you pansy...back off! He's mine!", I will be cheering so loudly you will hear me in Canada. If someone has to support someone, if someone takes a hit or blocks a blow meant for another...I will fall over much, much dead with fan-girl happiness (as long as said blow isn't fatal!)
It's going to be a long wait! I think you might be really on to something with the physical/spiritual double attack thing. Wonder what Naraku's final purpose is in all this? And wonder what's happening in Kagome's little miko brain? Something sealing her...is SHE just the good of the Shikon? All the times demons, other mikos, etc. couldn't figure out what she has or how her power works? Hmmmm. Ah, who the hell knows or cares...I'm just going to enjoy till the end.
Unless a certain pretty, silver-haired taiyoukai gets offed.

Yes, there's always that little disclaimer at the end. I will be with you all the way if a certain inu taiyoukai gets killed off. And also if they work as a team. OMG that would be orgasmic.
The Kagome thing... the jewel WAS inside her body after all. She was physically linked to the jewel before the caterpillar youkai took it out of her, so it makes sense that the connection is also spiritual. She's the one with the power to sense the shards, too. I don't think anyone else had that ability. Her sealed power could very well be the 'good' side of the jewel. It's getting exciting! 
Of course, our continued interest lies in the continued presence of a certain pretty youkai.

Yep...that sounds about it, my super genius friend! So curious as to what will bring about the unsealing. (Was going to make a bunch of highly unladylike jokes here but then thought better of it! Besides..we both KNOW fictional Kagome is not able to do that sort of thing anymore. )
I'm both half relieved/half sad this is seeming like the END. Part of me thinks it would be great to have all the answers, that fanfiction and fan-art can keep the fun coming (and keep the fun coming at the more adult, more mature, more psychologically developed level I like!). But then part of me worries everyone will drift apart! I can't even imagine what it's going to be like the first Wednesday I don't have to search for scanlations! Weep.

Yeah, it'll be sad when everyone starts going their separate ways after the series is finally over... but a lot of us have already started drifting. I'm sure that we'll be able to find other interests in common if we're not going to be doing the Inuyasha thing anymore after the manga is finished. Onward and upward, things are always changing. Friendships come and go, but porno and perversity are forever. :3

Miroku's talk in the beginning makes me think of a TellSell presentator about to introduce a fa-bu-lous~~ product to fight boredom (and hopefully gain some clever lines on Inuyasha to say, cause he does have a point)
And yeah, I agree that secondary characters are the best. Too bad Jaken wasn't in this one, personal fave

haha, some behind the scenes pictures are usually funny. Gives me some ideas for really out of character situations.
Jaken's so underappreciated. If Sesshoumaru didn't have him as a companion it wouldn't have been half as fun to see Sesshy scenes. ("fun", in my opinion, is one of the last words to describe Sesshoumaru, though I really dig his character)

I love Sango! I wish Takahashi would give some more attention to Sango at least. Sometimes I get the feeling she was thrown in just so that Kohaku could hold the last shard for a reason.
Shit, I wish she would give everyone (besides Kagome, Kikyo and Inuyasha) some more attention. They deserve it :'(.

I'm so hoping the monster isn't going to know what hit him. I still can't shake this scary, scary feeling that Takahashi means to kill off Sesshoumaru doing something all stupid and noble. Sorry, I'm just paranoid. I get so freaked when the poor guy goes off into a fight anymore! For some reason, I don't think this baddie is your average M.O.W. (I keep thinking back to the whole reason for using Inuyasha and Kikyou to taint the Jewel...this Mini-Shikon-Spawn looks conveniently too much like Inuyasha!)! Guess I'll have to wait till next week to see if the theory is confirmed.
But, yeah, like most everyone else, I think there's a Sess upgrade on the horizon.

Since he's going after this one with his bare hands, I figure that Toutousai will be showing up soon. I don't think this one is ordinary either, which will make any win, even a hard one, that much better. It's also interesting that Naraku really didn't seem all that pleased about this incarnation. I wondering if it won't turn on him. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the chapter this week. I'm anxious to see it.
And if this doesn't make sense, I'm about ready to fall over. I think I'm going to bed, now...

Exactly! I was confused by his reaction too...he didn't seem pleased, but he didn't seem all that surprised either! Hoorah for Totosai...he's one of my nostalgic favs. Gotta love the crazy that hides the secrets!

Yep - I like the old geezer. Since his home was destroyed, he's probably hanging around not too far away, waiting for Sesshomaru to earn his own sword.
Even if Naraku was surprised, I don't know that we'd see it. It seems like the only time he has a reaction we can see is when something doesn't go as planned - like when Kagome shot that arrow right through Hitomiko at him. He's probably thinking this new evil is on his side, but I'm not certain of that, either.
I hope we don't have to wait too long for this one. Then of course, I won't be able to wait for the next (though at least I'll have HP to keep me occupied over the weekend).

Poor secondary characters. We still love you! But, hey, I've been pleased with the constant hopping from the Inu-gami to the Sessho-gami lately. It seems every other chapter we get Meidou-this or I-want-a-cool-sword that...
