thank you, I love working with glass and try to manifest that in my work. I always hope that it shows in at least some of my pieces! Thanks for having a look and taking the time to comment

Thank you, working with glass and plasma still amazes me, too. Plasma seems to have its own mind ... interesting stuff

thanks, this plasma stuff is weird, I threw out my vacuum gauge long ago and do fills and mixes by eye now. This one's filled with Argon (blue)and Neon (orange). Strange thing is that the whole vessel contains the same percentage mix of gas, but the discharge excites the gases at different points ... ie just because the bubbles on the end glow orange doesn't mean that there's more neon present there! The more I play around with this work, the less I understand it!

seriously... just can't get over how talented you are
would never have thought about doing such things with glass. not ever.

i'm sure they would be way out of my price range... but are you, by any chance, interested in selling any of your gaseous glass pieces?

thank you very much, these pieces are gone, but once I'm back up and have some time I will be making more. Depending on what size, complexity and what you want it to do they start at between au$500 - 1000 and go up from there. Most of the cost is in the driver, the gases themselves and the time it takes to make the object ... and I guess shipping from Australia wouldn't be very cheap, either, depending on size and weight.
