This is a true fact that can't be overstated.
I think that you did a fantastic, amazing job on the face and pose of this one. I like the proportions and they seem to be working together quite well. But really, it's the face. You do eyes in a very unique and interesting way that makes them seem so powerful.

I'm glad that you're getting back into it. It probably feels great to be sweeping all of that backlogged stuff out of the way. It's a serious bummer when you have a to-do list that only gets longer and never goes anywhere. I consider that to be one of the worst feelings, and I hope that it's been going away for you.
I will! And it's been going alright. I have my feelers out. I wanted to ask you personally if you wanted to do it. You did help me design the character, after all, and the reference is in your style already. I was just worried that you wouldn't want to devote yourself to the time that it would take and junk. I don't want to burden you if you're not up for it, although I'd love to work with you.

a certain time period, afterwards a little break for my project and if it goes well contiue with yours. And of course we can do both. Just one will have a deadline and the other will be made "by the way" as, like you said, you're not in a hurry with it.

Really?! I'm very flattered! And I am interested ^^ Didn't say anything so far 'cause I know time is important to you when it comes to this project and you know how I work :/ Sometimes faster sometimes it takes ages :/ I think now it's just a matter of the old list. Usually it takes me few days to make the "fresh" commission. As for the manga. It's also easier if I have a ready script. I've been through short manga commissions. One 3 pages long is in my gallery. And there was a nice big project I started working on but the commissioner .. oh well nvmnd. SS takes me a bit 'cause I'm thinking about the paneling and details while drawing so 2/3 of the time spent on it is the thinking part. And yes, right, I have my own project. That might be another issue. AND we do have an other project to work on. You already "bought" me so it's your call what we'll work on

I'm sure that positive changes will happen once you get the backlog off of your shoulders. I should definitely start doing more of what I need to do, if only because you're beginning to make me look bad! You forgot about our deal and yet you're actually following it better than I am, even though I've been aware of it. Haha. That's totally not okay. Bad me. *slaps own hand* Bad.
Regarding the time that Sphinx would need devoted to it: that would only apply once the project actually begins. I'm looking to make it function a bit like a webcomic, with one to three pages coming out per week, if even. One a week would be the minimum. I'd only need that time schedule to be fixed once the project began, since readership isn't something you'd have to worry about until the first piece is already published. That's the kind of timetable that I'm looking at/for right now. Because of that--and how it would be committal and timed only after it started--it wouldn't be a problem to wait until you were ready to begin.
I'm going to send a note to you with a detailed test-page that you could take a shot at if you're willing. It's written in a much more formal style than the Bleach one that I showed you, mainly since I'm testing it out with multiple artists to see which one matches the style the best. I'll copy/paste it so you can see if you could work with it and have a reference to go off of. I love your style, and I think that it would be great to see if we can figure something out!
