this is a geniune Carnivale Mask my father brought me from Venice Italy
I have always wanted one and plan to see Venice before I die

That passage immediately made me think of this picture. The darkness behind the mask, showing through the eyes, enfolding the mask itself... You make it as real and meaningful as the mask itself. Amazing photography.
