Welp. Here she is, ladies and gents. Humanized Melony, in all her watermelony glory. As per usual I’m not great with anatomy but in spite of that, I think I actually made her kinda cute. I mean... she is a counterpart to Meggy so I guess that’s no surprise.

Is there a rewrite of the YouTube Arc to go along with this? Well, can’t say how far I’ll go with that but I certainly have some ideas brewing. The most solid detail I’ve thought up so far is that she’s a tech nerd who has been working as an apprentice of sorts to SMG3 since sometime before the YouTube Arc even began. What her motivation and personal goals are, now that I’m not sure of yet, but it’s a more clear reason to side with SMG3 than her teammates ever had in canon.

On a related note, there’s a theory that Meggy will eat Melony at the end of the arc and if that’s proven true... perhaps me and whoever else has humanized Melony have enabled some references- if not outright examples, God forbid- to an element of the Internet most of us would rather not speak of. 👀
