Description Well, it finally snowed, and what that meant for Paige Stud was; all horses inside, shovels, groceries, and for me and Yote it meant checking the fences. We couldn't allow our valuable thoroughbreds to escape and run lose, so we walked the perimeter of the property checking out the fences for weaknesses and breaks. Yote had grown up in Montana and experienced some very cold winters, much colder than today, and was not complaining.

It was soul cleansing listening to the wet snow land on the trees and the scraping of Yote's hooves on the icy road. I had recently gotten into a bad argument with my little brother and was so pissed I had to step outside, Danny saw me and realized I needed something to do before I exploded. Gotta love the horse trainer that also seems to have a great knowledge of humans as well.

The part about me being pissed and the argument are all true . . . this is just a vent painting, if you would like more info on Coyote Killer or Paige Stud of HArpg just ask.

God! I love this horse more and more every time I see him! This is a great piece, I can feel the snow on my shoulders! And I LOVE the jacket... looks like me!

I keep wanting to do a snow pic... but can't get in the mood with none around my place yet... Looks like it may be a dry winter for me,

Thank you, he is a lovely boy!
It started snowing at 1pm yesterday and stoped at about 8 this morning, supposed to start again tonight. It's all well and good, but I have go to work tomorrow at 10am, hope I don't wreck!

I love driving in the snow! As long as people who don't know how to drive in the snow stay off the damn roads... they are the only problem around here. We don't get real snow around here anyway. It's heavy, wet snow, melts pretty fast usually, and I'm too close to the water... but snow is snow, and I love it! Today was wonderful, gray overcast, foggy/misty and nice and cool. It's why I love the northwest!

I drove in the snow once with my grandfather's bronco, no one else had the sand to drive that day so I drove a friend to work because her asshole boss didn't care if she had a four-wheel drive vehicle or not. We were within 50 yards of the building and I hit a patch of ice and went in a very slow, non exciting 360 spin in the middle of the street. The right front tire bumped a mail box on the opposite side of the road and we stopped. My friend was hysterical, I let out a whoop and said I wanted to go again!

Haha! Sounds like something I would do! All my friends hate when I drive them around in the snow, and start doing doughnuts in the middle of the street, or randomly pull into some parking lot and drift around. Scares the crap outta them

Hehe, it was fun and scarey at the same time, spinning around at 5 mph is sorta fun, my friend screamed the whole time though, dented that mail box too XD

It was replaced or fixed the following spring, my friend however refused to ride the remaining distance to the store she worked in and opted to walk instead, funny

After all that sliding on ice talk yesterday I went to work this morning and spun my car around in a complete . . . well almost complete circle this morning coming around the fountains at the entrance of my neighborhood. Fun shit!

Haha! Figures.... It always works out that way. Glad ya made it home! Didn't break anything did you?

WickerWolfArt In reply to Huntress614 [2009-12-21 19:51:21 +0000 UTC]

I know right, nope didn't break a thing, didn't even hit anything, the Lexus behind me had trouble stopping, I was hoping they wouldn't slide too and it me, but that was the only scarey part. My Beetle wouldn't stand much of a chance against that SUV.

Mmm... yeah probably not. Glad ya came out unscathed! I always worry about people behind me... some people are really stupid about it. Why can't they understand that if its snow/ice its slippery and you need to stay further back than normal!

Always maintain a safe following distance, especially if conditions don't allow a quick stop. Of course you CAN come to a quick stop, just up the ass end of another vehicle.
