Past weeks have been cold and dry, with temps constantly below zero. Often it had -10°C at night and less. As a result the river Weißeritz is almost completely frozen now. Photo taken last evening, during the "blue hour".Camera: Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Lens: Canon EFS 18-135 mm

If you want the ice not to turn blue, you should add extra light when you take the shot!

She can simply adjust the white balance, too, but this is the goal for shooting in the blue hour

I like the shot, but was just wondering why it turned so blue, and I know when taking snow pics they turn blueish when the settings on the camera are too dark...

It's the hour before dawn and after sunset. The residual, indirect sunlight takes on a predominantly blue shade then. One can make use of it in photography: www.picmonkey.com/blog/blue-ho…
