Hahaa I know what you mean. We get pigeons come into our bird-bath (which is the other side of the cat compound btw), and they're so large they take up the whole area, rather like chickens! Very annoying, 'cos we love it when the other birds decide to take a dip! The pigeons have a bath, turn round and the poop into the water before leaving!

We've pigeons too but they only come to drink. I think the bird bath is too small for them.
But the blackbirds here behave just like your pigeons.

The birds around my house are like paranoid schizophrenics. They sit at the bath for five seconds and flit away when I move a muscle. Maybe someday I can get one on camera. ><

We fed them during winter and they're used to movements cause it's on a balcony.
But the blackbirds are extraordinary bold compared to all the others.
