Impala scooted a bit closer to her friend, enjoying the petals that floated through the air and landed in the gently flowing river below. They floated out of sight like dozens of tiny pink and white boats journeying to unknown lands far away. She draped her tail on the ground, the gentle silver-blue and white curls resting softly against the green flower-laced grass, right beside Oden’s tail. Their tail fur brushed slightly and Impala glanced at the closer riverbank, a small smile spreading across her muzzle. She had been through a lot, but she had the support of her friends, and with that support she knew that she would be okay.

Oden smiled as she scooted closer to him, enjoying a gentle breeze that was sweeping through and ruffled his fur. As her tail brushed up against his he seemed almost surprised, glancing quickly at Impala to gauge her reaction and upon seeing her small smile he relaxed. He couldn't help but think back to the day he had met Impala, at this same location, and she had helped him to choose his path in becoming a Scout for Kausen. He had been so new and unsure of everything, but Impala had been there acting with just as much care and thought as she did now. He was very lucky to have her, he thought.

RP---> Beautiful Spring (Oden and Impala):iconwildfire-tama: It was early evening, and a beautiful one at that, when Impala padded out of the healer’s den for perhaps one of the last times. After a long recovery she was finally ready to move out and resume her normal life. But… what was her normal life now? Could such a horribly scarred she-wolf continue on in her Emissary duties? Impala was unsure.
The silver-blue she-wolf pushed the thought out of her mind. The future was a struggle for another day. Now she had to find Oden. He had promised to stop by later that night so they could go for another one of their walks, but Impala had decided to take matters into her own paws and go find him for once.
She followed the familiar scent of the white wolf. She pushed through the bushes, which were just beginning to bud in the new spring. ”Oden?” she asked, her tail wagging slowly and the gentle curling fur on her body bouncing slightly with each step as she tried to locate her friend.
