Description Ah, one of my pride and joys. This piece took a painstaking amount of time crouched over with microscopic brushes, But it was so worth it!
This is the story of the moon deity, Chang'e. If you don't know the story you should Wiki it. But basically, Chang'e swipes her husbands immortality pill, but only took half of it. Since she was only partially immortal she couldn't reach the heavens and only made it to the moon. Because of her folly, she is doomed to a lonely existence on the moon with the Jade rabbit as her only companion. Sad stuff, eh?

Medium: Chinese Watercolor
Surface: Superfine Rice paper
Time: like 7 hours or something

Ugh, my eyes cross just thinking about all the work you had to do on this. But it's so beautiful, it's so worth the work!

Gorgeous shapes, lines and colours. The red on her dress looks really beautiful. At least she's got a bun-bun there to play with. And maybe she'll find the Japanese princess Kaguya.
