Good morning, everypony! XD FRIDAY!!! And boy, I work a LOT with this one! Still, I havent used anything of what people tried to teach me but I will once I have more practice, ok?
Here you have her, boys and girls: CARO`S QUICKSPIN!!! And I think its the second I color in Photoshop. Let me take a look....Hm..This is the first colored QuickSpin I did for Caro: [link] -that has has her original design. Man, Quick has a great design! ^^ What can I say? I am a big fan of Caro's work. XD
And there is also this: [link] But I dont think I should count it since that is a sketch. :S
Oh well, lets just stick with 2, shall we? XD
Like I said back in the previous steps: I wanted to create a NEW form for QuickSpin.I did a couple in the past but they were basically the same "Nursebot" we all know and love. ^^ I wanted to take Quick out of her medical duties and make her like a rogue agent of some sort. A special Ops bot. ^^
Originally I wanted her to be all black but the result was way too plain. :S So I decided to use a bit of red and gold from QuickSpin's original colors to break all the dark in her armor. And doesnt look that bad. ^^' I still think I can improve it a bit.
HEr alternate mode is still an helicopter. She doesnt have her katanas anymore, instead she has rotating blades in her arms. A note about them, they shink down, they dont remain that long for her robot mode. Think in that sword Sulu uses in the new Star TRek movie for better reference, otherwise will be difficult for the character to cross her arms or something.
She CAN transform, Caro knows, she has her reference pics. Oh, about the helmet. That's also a nod to Quick's original one,with the crest in the middle and the ones at the sides. Those lil red "antennas" she has are a nod too, in Caro's concept Quickspin's wears a blue/transparent visor and those "antennas" do move over her face to create a red mask. Caro also knows how that works. XD
I think I will upload the references pic too. ^^'
