Great shot! the composition is wonderful and the colors are amazing. The fisherman is so vivid and crisp and standing against an almost surreal background of sky and waves. Awesome work!

Yeah... the content is perfect but resolution increase would do so much.... just like a lot of people have said about my photos.... need a better quality cam, I definitely know I do.

It was mid winter 2 years ago, but it's relatively warm up at Byron Bay. I swam then. . . But this is sunrise so the air was pretty brisk.

Not a problem. You are welcome. I enjoy all those beach shots since I live so far from any beaches!

I can't imagine living far away from a beach. . . But I guess most people do.. . Australia's not much smaller in area than the U.S. but 90% of the population lives within an hour's drive of a beach. . . I guess that's not the case in the. U.S. . . . Where are you located?

AmedaN In reply to wildplaces [2005-06-03 13:40:41 +0000 UTC]

Right in the middle! I'm about 11 hours from the nearest beach!

Last vacation on a beach was about 2 1/2 years ago and I was actually on assignment with my company at the time...Went to California and walked on the first black sand beaches I'd ever seen in my life. Was there for 4 mnths working...eh, well working some of the time.lol Mostly exploreing and taking photos!

Then I was transferred to just outside of Boston Massachusettes on the oppisite coast of the U.S. for 2 mnths. Where the sand is white like sugar in the sunlight! It was cool too.....but I like California better! I'd love to live there some day.California is Gorgeous!

Excellent, it actually makes me want to grab a pole and head for the open sea.
Very well done. Perhaps, you should open another account for all of photographs that aren't related to your modeling photography. Just a thought. Because you have so many photographs on your site, it's hard to keep up sometimes.
Keep up the good work mate.

I'd never thought of that. . . LOL. Maybe I should have done that earlier. . . It would be a heck of a job to go back and do that now.
