Mmkay, so I haven't gotten around to any more practice with my new Copics since that last picture of Shen. I finally had some extra time tonight and I was able to experiment a little with the newest addition to my Copic set, Warm Grey 3. ^_^I ended up choosing a tiger as my subject since the stripes and colors are so much fun. I took some liberties here with this one's stripes after being inspired by the cover of my Naruto manga vol. 11.
This picture is dedicated to Megan, since she likes my animals in costume (and she gave me the markers XD); for Vicky, since she's been wanting me to draw a tiger for the longest time; and also my cousins, Alice and Barrie, who've been wishing to see some of my original artwork rather than commission stuff all the time. *glomps you all*

I love the colors, you have such control. Those stripes are too cool and make me think of a middle eastern genie type thing.

I'm just curious, where do you use prismacolor pencils in this? I have a set of Prismacolor colored pencils, But I'm not sure where you use them in this.

i just spotted 1 guy on deviant that spend 600$ on his copic markers and then i thought "is it worth it?"I mean for 600$ you can buy large Wacom Intuos 4 tablet which lets you do the same that copic markers do and more.So i just wanted to ask people who own copic markers or a tablet their opinion
Oh and sorry for the mistakes i may have done here english is my secondary language

Personally, I like the traditional media and I'm not that great at tablet art but that's just my opinion.

i was thinking about buying copic markers...do you have to buy them seperately? how expensive are they? i heard they cost quite a bit. i would also like to know what kind of paper you used and...i dunno...how you did it. i'm quite interested

hey, I'm about to buy copics (been saving for months), do you have any opinions in wether I should buy sketch or originals? I mostly draw manga-looking stuff... I dunno know which ones are best suited for me :S
It would really help me if you had any advices ^^

They're about six bucks each and I get them from a local arts and crafts store called Hobby Lobby. If you can't find them in your area, you can always get them online.
