June Dracostryx prompt featuring my new boys Thundervolt and Paradise !

I've been waiting to get Paradise for years.

Ever since I watched the episode of Akagami no Shirayuki-hime with the Yuris Island birds, I've wanted to get a stryx that looked just like them.

I bought his geno years ago, but only now have I had the resources to add Jay and Olive to him.

Thundervolt was an impulse adoption.

When he showed up at the loft during the "free" adoption event a couple months back, I had to have him.

I needed a good sand boy.

Best of all, neither of them have a lineage.

The story behind these two is a fun one as well.

Paradise lost his family to trappers as a young bird.

He found a lost Thundervolt as a fledge.

The two adopted each other as wing-brothers, an idea I've adopted from ElementalJess 's amazing Summer King Chronicles for my Stryx AU.

I love how this turned out on the tan-toned paper.

I think I messed up the shading a bit, so the angle looks odd, but otherwise it looks exactly as I imagined.
