I love the colours and the mist...was admiring them so intensely that I didn't even notice the sheep at first! Such a great photo

It is nice to see a shot like this one that shows a different kind of pre-sunrise scene. The one with the moving clouds - definitely displaying a true morning fog - that show certain colors in anticipation of the sunrise. Very interesting and quite enlightening, Warren.

Laurice, well, we see this image differently. These sheep are my closest neighbours.

I see this image as my neighbours turning their backs on me. A very sad situation indeed.

Warren,

Do you think that the sheep will respond if you move closer to them? Looking at the photo, it seems to me that you were pretty far from the pasture when you took the shot and the sheep did not know that you were there. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Laurice, I know that they would have responded ... by running away. Sheep are flight animals.

When you catch their eye, no matter how far away you are, sheep are hopeless creatures. They certainly aren't inquisitive. They spook easily.

Warren, do you have an idea what causes the sheep to spook easily? Something to do with their wool being sheared on a regular basis?

Laurice, I think sheep are basically silly animals ... without two neurones to rub together.

They are flight animals and within their make-up is lots of erratic behaviour.

Marjatta, G'day. I'm pleased that you like the photograph.

I feel that one of my images has worked well if I've left room for someone else's imagination.

Thank you for your note, it had brightened my day.

Gerardo, thank you Mate.

These sheep are my closest neighbours ... and they have turned their backs to me. I hope your neighbours are friendlier than mine.

Thank you Eric.

I like how the sheep were oblivious to my presence ... this is most unusual for sheep.

Ours are more stoic. But then again, we don't have dingos.

You're welcome, Warren!
