2. Wearing a halter .

After the first rain of spring, the horses went crazy- especially the foals. Most of them hadn't experienced the first big storm of spring and so they all went a little haywire in their stalls. Once they were let out into the field, they had so much energy! Cloud especially went nuts. The flashes of lightning had him a bit scared in the barn, but now that the flashing was gone, he let off some steam by playing in the puddles- a little too roughly. He slipped and fell and then eventually just rolled in the mud. Kadence was busy with chores before she could catch him. She was starting to regret not blanketing him, but it couldn't be helped now! She grabbed his halter and went out to get him, to which he came gleefully to her, showing off his beautiful new hair-do. He loved being groomed so she knew he wouldn't be upset if she washed him off and gave him a good brushing. However, he wasn't exactly perfect at standing tied just yet. So she tied him to one of the poles and went back to the barn to get her grooming tote. When she came back, she found him pawing and pulling and biting at the rope. Oh boy, this might take a little while longer than she expected it to.

took my time on this one and i'm happier with the outcome! i actually had the sketch for cloud sitting around for a while, but i added kadey and the little grooming tote box~
