Maybe but if Greninja didn't return, I think Jangmo-o (Dragon Type) would be useful to be Ash's Team cause of the Z-Crystal called Dragonium Z that Ash needs to earn by Totem Kommo-o at Poni Island for his Final Trails

To me, Ash's final team shouldn't include Greninja. He's got around four or five water types that're equally capable (if not more than Greninja and a level 100 Primal Kyogre put together) of having their hands in Alolan Pokemon Battles. It should include Rowlet, Raichu (if it'll evolve, which I'd say it's going to), Incineroar, Lycanroc, Pidgeot, and Infernape.

Well let's just wait & see of what's happening & Actually Ash's Pikachu doesn't want to evolve & his Rowlet's got a Everstone, so it would use a Seed Bomb
Also Ash has got 7 Water Types actually like...

Ash probably never will get an Eevee because it and its evolutions are the only kind of Pokemon Ash doesn't like, because Gary. He would probably train his Lycanroc to hunt Eevees and their evolutions. Since Ash hates Eevees he had some predatory Pokemon that could eat it.

I think that will be the most likely sceranio of Ash getting a Jangmo-o so it can get more development in the series without being rash or shorten as that would happen if Ash caught Jangmo-o near the end of the series like with Gible
