It's really hard to choose from the 3, the first one was not bad either, I mean under dense vegetation colours may look like that. And in all of them you have retained slightly purplish shade of her skin which was imperfection of the photo.

Hi again! That's not an imperfection ... if you look at other people's photos of hippos or pygmy hippos you will generally see some blues and purples in the sheen on the body. Especially if there's some shade. Anything that is in the shade looks a bit bluer than if its in full sun. As an artist I will usually put blues and purples in even if they're not in the photo ... as cool colours to contrast and bring out warmer colours and areas of highlights. In this case, to emphasize the highlights on the head and back. And I put green in the body too, which isn't in your photo *or* in real pygmy hippo skins, and then I also put purple in the green of the background. It's all for getting a certain effect ...
