he's both (dezaras in japanese and deathsauras in english). in some of the fan dubs/subs, he also refer'd to as "death sanders" (ask wingedsiamese about that one. hehe).

Awesome, man. I got the original toy along with Victory Leo, I think? Those two were my favs cause they were so frickin huge. Like the size of Devastator once you combined the Constructicons...hell, I think he still dwarfed any gestalt. Plus he had the phoenix and the gryffin things like the tapes. It's a wicked redesign.

true. i JUST got parts to complete my original star saber (finally found his sword and gun on ebay for a reasonable price! booya).
i WISH i had an actual dezaras. i bought my star saber figure at botcon 01 for $75 and he was such a piece of crap when i got him. torn up and missing stickers and pieces. i'd love to have a victory leo too. until then, i'll have to settle for the robot masters mini-versions of him.

Wow, $75. I don't know how much my Dezaras and Victory Leo were cause I've had them since I was a little kid. Near mint cause I never played with them much on account of not knowing who they were back then. Well...except for the stickers...I was terrible at putting stuff in the lines...or coloring in the lines for that matter. Now I'm wondering how much they're worth.

The ratio of black to white is pretty much even, and keeps you looking at the picture. Plus, the foreshortening is very well done. I'm liking this. I haven't seen anything else you've done, but this looks great. I'm feeling the anger and rage in it...
