Very chilling, and the black and white help add to it. I wonder where she's going though. Maybe to escape? The way you were able to show the height of the stairs in this picture between the lower half and upper half is pretty interesting now that I look at it. Nice job!

Monotone palettes are good for night/scary scenes.
I will write about what's going on later. It's part of a story.
I'm not happy with the stairs. The perspective is completely wrong and I cheated a lot, but if it works for you, then it's not so bad.
Downwards shots with deep backgrounds is an "easy" way to convey size, but the easy part is thinking of it. Drawing it is hard without a good reference.
