I am SO excited with how this turned out!!!! My first ever drawing tutorial! *squee*

I’ve been wanting to make some of these for SO LONG. I’ve had people ask me about drawing and drawing tips in the past, but I just never knew how to answer or approach it. Mainly because I draw freehanded. It’s always difficult for freehanded artists to give drawing advice since we rarely use structures and bases and guidelines and such. I DO use them occasionally, whenever I have difficulties lining up details. But other than that, I mostly draw freehanded. I really don’t take much thought in ‘how’ I draw something. I just jump in and do it. Then when someone asks me how to draw this or that, my mind goes blank.

But I really wanted to start making some tutorials for everyone. So I thought I’d give it a shot and see how it works.

Aside from drawing traditionally, I use Photoshop CS6 and a Wacom tablet. But I kept this tutorial as simple and basic as I possibly could so anyone can use it regardless of what paint program you use or whether you draw traditionally or digitally.

If this tutorial goes over well and everyone likes it, I might think about doing more in the future. Let me know! And I also would love to see your finished drawings that you made using this tutorial! So I'll know that it's easy for everyone to follow. Feel free to link them in your comments!
