Haha, I wasn't even sure if I should post this, it's SO humiliating.Buuuut I decided for it, as sort of an inspirational?
or at very minimum a good laugh.
And if you're observant, you'll notice I've only been in art since 6th grade. xD That's a whopping total of 5 and a half years of art. I feel kinda inferior to all you people who have been doing art since elementary.

Don't feel inferior at all! I didn't start actually trying to learn to draw until I was fifteen. Ursula Vernon(ursulav.deviantart.com), who is now a professional artist, didn't learn to draw until she was seventeen.
Everybody's got to start somewhere.

It is pretty inspirational. It makes me feel like I suck less, like I'm still just evolving. I guess it's true that everyone has to start somewhere. You've progressed amazingly ^^

I was really into anime in fourth grade, even though I tried a little bit at second grade. 8D
And four (or six xD) years later, I feel as if I improved ALOT.

You shouldn't feel inferior, you just proved you're better than most 'lifelong' artists. You've improved soooo much in those 5 and a half years, that's something to be proud of. Even in the short time I've known you I see improvement.
Some time I'll post something like this and you'll see how look it took me to improve XD

Improvement is what makes an artist an artist. I really like seeing the progession of your art into your current style, it shows a little more of who you are in the artsie world.
Hmm hmm, perphaps the introduction of the dual fans was just maybe, MAYBE around the time when Lance discovered Dynasty Warriors? ;D Just maybe.

I see it more as inspirational...
I've been drawing alot since I was 12. I still have a few of those really old drawings that totally lack proportions and whatnot... XD XD
I did improved a lot over that time and I realized that in the short time of a year and a half I improved as much as I did in a couple of years when I was younger. I really like the coloring on the last one, wish I could color on the computer like that.
There's always room to get better, even if you spend a lifetime drawing
