Thats very touching, especially help with choosing face despite own condition. Please let us submit it to Psychology.Art.
Im sure you know, but dissociation is a normal reacion we all use to avoid uncomfortable or painful situations, makes you wonder where and when it turns into disease. In some cases its painfully obvious of course.

Sybil as in the book by Flora Reta Schreiber on dissociative personality disorder ? Interesting interpretation.

Fascinating and scary state of mind / way of survival. Read about her destiny when I was a teenager and it has stayed with me. Are the people touching the heads within a head her parents, doctor Schreiber... ?

Hi anima
this painting isnt actually sybil, its about someone who has the same illness as sybil.
I used that title because of the similarties of their condition.
the people touching the head, one without a face is the one with the illness, and the one next to her is a close friend who is a father figure to her and he helps her choose her face. He also suffers from DID and has 3 other personalities as well. So he suffers too but he is able to help her find her real face/identity.
