It's really brilliant. Oh I can imagine...I tried to draw owls but I never managed to get the feathers they way to look real.

For me not adding too much detail works pretty fine. Try squinting your eyes if it feels that there is too much little details and stuff. It helps to see the basic shape and such. ^^

Thank you! It is nice to hear that you enjoy my owls ^^ they are so fun to draw. I use graphite pencils for the lineart, and most of the work is done then. Then I just scan it on to my computer and ad the colors in photoshop ( I have some really crappy version of it :F) with my wacom ^^ I love that thing its so handy <3 I hope that explanation helped somewhat

Oh ok neat! I'm looking into getting a Bamboo Create tablet; which one do you use? And do you use the photoshop program that (might have) came with the tablet? I only know that the Create version comes with Photoshop elements. haha

I think mine is Graphire XL. I have had it for several years and they don't even make them anymore but it still works fine. I use it with PS7, but I got elements with the wacom.

Wow! I just checked out that video you linked me, and I am blown away!
I personally could never have conceived the idea of a pen recording what it draws/writes! At first, I thought the thing you put at the top of the paper was like a scanner or something of some sort. But omfg the pen is what records everything?!

My how far technology has come! I feel like this could be used for more than art though, like writing and sending secret messages or something haha xD

One that I am personally very interested in is photoshop apps for tablets. Imagine if you could use that with a pen like thingy? Drawing straight on the screen would be so awesome without having to by a special screen for that. I am definitely looking into that option in the future.
