   [Pelt]- Spiderlily’s pelt is mostly a soft, cream color, but she does have brown patches on her face, ears, paws, and tail. She also has a few stripes on her face and ears. Most of her pelt is soft, smooth, and short, which she adores. She would hate having long fur because it would take forever to groom and would be heavy, as well as hot.

   [Body Type]- Spiderlily is slim and agile. Most of her body is actually muscle and there probably isn’t an ounce of fat on her frame because she is so thin and lanky. However, she is glad for this fact because it allows her to twist and fight much better. She isn’t weighed down or constricted as much if she had a little more meat on her.

   [Eyes]- Spiderlily’s eyes are probably her least favorite feature. She almost despises them because they are so dull and murky. She would rather them be a brighter, almost icy blue in color, but they aren’t so she doesn’t much care for them.

   [Scent]- Spiderlily has the scent of the flowers she is named after and of just plain lilies. Sometimes other plants will join her fragrance, but the core scent is lilies.

   [Scars]- Currently, Spiderlily possesses only two collections of scars. She has a torn right ear that she earned sometime in her youth and three scars that go across her face in between her eyes. These scars occurred around the same time as her torn ear. Maybe even at the same time, but she refuses to say where and when she got them.

  The one good thing Spiderlily likes about her eyes is that she has sharp vision and is able to spot details some may not be able to see. She can pick up details on the fly as well, which helps keep her and others from danger if she wishes to share it with them. However, her observance isn’t limited to her sight. She is able to pick up near silent noises if she is actively looking for them, which she often keeps her ears peeled just in case.

   [Intelligent]- “You say you didn’t see her until midday, however, it is now midday. You have made a mistake.”

  Spiderlily isn’t one to be tricked by silly things or fail something because of her lack of intelligence. She is quick to pick up abilities if she sets her mind to it and she is able to pick up on others lying to her from minor flaws in their conversation. Spider will often find ways to fix problems before others will because she actively searches for ways to solve it, as well as ways to solve the problem the fastest.

   [Obedient]- “Yes, sir.”

  She may have a bad attitude at times, but Spiderlily isn’t one to act out when given an order. If someone needs her to escort them somewhere, she’ll do it without giving them too hard of a time over it as long as it is reasonable or they are of higher authority. Spiderlily will do practically anything if given the order from a higher authority. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t complain or like it.

   [Loyal]- “I will not give up my faith in Nettle-Locked to join you rag-tag fleabags.”

  Spiderlily is extremely loyal to Nettle-Locked and her family. She puts family (Nettle-Locked) in front of everything and won’t give up any faith in them no matter what. However, there are exceptions, but for the major part, Nettle-Locked is what she believes in and fights for. She isn’t going to backstab anyone and that is something most cats will probably love about her.

   [Uncaring]- “Go ahead and get yourself killed. It’s no skin off my bones. More food for Nettle-Locked and myself.”

  Although she is fiercely loyal to Nettle-Locked, she is a bit on the uncaring side of how she treats the members of it. Yeah they are her family and she wouldn’t want them to leave or die, but she doesn’t care if they attempt to do something stupid. Spiderlily doesn’t want to babysit anyone and just doesn’t care too much about them in a general sense. The only exception to this is if the cat is of flesh-in-blood to her or one she really doesn’t want to lose. Then she will be almost the opposite and worry about them constantly. Also the major part of her uncaring nature is a way to keep others at a distance. She tells herself she doesn’t care so that she doesn’t get attached. If she isn’t attached, then it’ll hurt less when they leave is what she tells herself.

   [Independent]- “I’d rather go alone, thanks. You’ll only get in my way.”

  Spiderlily’s independence is a sort of distancing factor as well as a core trait of her personality. She would much rather beat her own battles so that she can feel happy over what she has accomplished, as well as pushing others away so she doesn’t damage herself when they leave. If she can survive by herself, she’s happy. If she doesn’t get too close, then it doesn’t hurt when others leave her life.

-Spiderlily is probably my first grouchy and unpleasant character that I have made. However, I’m excited for it!

[Humble Beginnings]- Roughly 7 seasons ago, two loners decided to have kits and were soon expecting. They had been stuck together all alone and felt that kits would be just the thing to make their existence livelier and worth living. That was proven true when three bundles of joy entered their lives. Moon and Thorn, the joyful mother and father, were excited and thankful for the kittens that had entered their lives. They named each of them after an object they saw around them. Cloud, the oldest and only son, Spider, the middle child, and Leaf, the youngest, were all healthy and handfuls as they began to grow up and change. The family was happy and the two parents were willing to live as they were.

[Diseased]- However, challenges always strike loner families. It never is just peaches and cream in their lives. This was proven when Spider’s parents became ill with some strange disease. The parents grew weak very quickly. It was a wonder known of the children had gotten ill themselves. In order to keep them all alive, the children, now roughly 8 months old, had to take over most of the duties the parents had mainly controlled. They hunted, fought, scouted, and protected the family. Their efforts were brave and selfless, but they were in vain as the parents eventually withered away. They passed on around the time the children were 10 months old. Each one of them were hurt, but chose to stick together, for their parent’s sake.

[Betrayal]- Nearly a year old now, the three were finding it increasingly harder to live. They were beginning to become agitated with each other. Their family was breaking, but it seemed the agitator was ready to kill it once and for all. Leaf, after a particularly bad argument between Cloud and herself, stormed off. Cloud quickly followed as he felt guilty for sending her off. It was dangerous after all. Spider had missed the whole event and when she returned back with some food for the three of them, she found no one in their camp. Panicked, she searched around until she found Leaf…. Standing over the body of her older and loved brother. Leaf had finally had enough and took his life. She hated him she screamed at the deceased body that was sliced up the stomach. Spider, horrified and deeply hurt, began to fight her sister. She earned a few scars, but Leaf was the one that was dealt the most damage. Spider scarred her left eye and then chased her off from the place; she was never able to kill her because she was still her family. Spider was then alone. She felt betrayed and hurt. Her family was no more.

[Wreckage]- After the event that damaged her, Spider mourned her brother after burying him at their camp. She gathered various flowers and adorned his grave before seeking a change in her life. Spider knew she had to live on for her parents and her brother. As she moved from her familiar territory, Spider found herself in strange places filled with cats. One particular group struck her with a very strong, almost tangible connection. Nettle-Locked Society. Deciding to join them to mend her failing life, Spider became an apprentice and changed her name. She became Spiderlily the Wide-eyed. She wanted to keep her old life for her parents, but wanted something new to fix what went wrong. Spiderlily learned the ways of her new family and worked toward being a defender of it. She wouldn’t let others wrong it like before, however, she had limits because she was damaged. Distance was what she often did because she lacked trust in others, except for a select few.

[Passion]- After successfully completing her training, she earned her title and her new rank. Spiderlily was given the new title of Passionate due to her continual fight for Nettle-Locked and for her strength of heart and mind. Spiderlily was finally felt as if she had found her place and was returned to how she once was, but with a few limits. She had a home and that was what she cared about most. Now she continues to work toward proving again and again that she can protect Nettle-Locked and won’t give up on it.

[Lost Leader (current time)]- After everything seemed to be going well, her leader disappeared. Spiderlily is now working to find her lost Protector and bring them back. She fears for the worst because flashbacks of when she couldn’t find Cloud and Leaf come back to her. She fears a repeat where her leader is found dead. However, she is determined to not let that happen.

Cloud quickly followed as he felt guilty for sending her off. It was dangerous after all. Spider had missed the whole event and when she returned back with some food for the three of them, she found no one in their camp. Panicked, she searched around until she found Leaf…. Standing over the body of her older and loved brother. Leaf had finally had enough and took his life. She hated him she screamed at the deceased body that was sliced up the stomach. Spider, horrified and deeply hurt, began to fight her sister. She earned a few scars, but Leaf was the one that was dealt the most damage. Spider scarred her left eye and then chased her off from the place; she was never able to kill her because she was still her family. Spider was then alone. She felt betrayed and hurt. Her family was no more.

[Wreckage]- After the event that damaged her, Spider mourned her brother after burying him at their camp. She gathered various flowers and adorned his grave before seeking a change in her life. Spider knew she had to live on for her parents and her brother. As she moved from her familiar territory, Spider found herself in strange places filled with cats. One particular group struck her with a very strong, almost tangible connection. Nettle-Locked Society. Deciding to join them to mend her failing life, Spider became an apprentice and changed her name. She became Spiderlily the Wide-eyed. She wanted to keep her old life for her parents, but wanted something new to fix what went wrong. Spiderlily learned the ways of her new family and worked toward being a defender of it. She wouldn’t let others wrong it like before, however, she had limits because she was damaged. Distance was what she often did because she lacked trust in others, except for a select few.

[Passion]- After successfully completing her training, she earned her title and her new rank. Spiderlily was given the new title of Passionate due to her continual fight for Nettle-Locked and for her strength of heart and mind. Spiderlily was finally felt as if she had found her place and was returned to how she once was, but with a few limits. She had a home and that was what she cared about most. Now she continues to work toward proving again and again that she can protect Nettle-Locked and won’t give up on it.

[Lost Leader (current time)]- After everything seemed to be going well, her leader disappeared. Spiderlily is now working to find her lost Protector and bring them back. She fears for the worst because flashbacks of when she couldn’t find Cloud and Leaf come back to her. She fears a repeat where her leader is found dead. However, she is determined to not let that happen.

Marsh’s thoughts were like poison and they seeked into his body and urged him to turn this around, but not yet.

Stilling and seeming to regain a little control, Marsh meowed in a tone that could be considered deathly calm, “If you are so unable to tell, then doesn’t that make you the fool? If you are so intelligent, then you should be able to tell if one, such as myself, is able to comprehend your actions or not. Seems you have failed in that department, pipsqueak.” Inwardly, Marsh felt cold malice over the miniscule apprentice. How did Skinner choose this tom for her apprentice? He seems ridiculous. ...Although he does have potential. Maybe that is what she sees within this brat. It was rueful thought and one he would never say.
