So...this 1 is drawn before shaymin on cheap cheap cheap paper xDDDbWater color + color pencil for retouch xDD
& i failed ...the water looks odd...OTL

actually its not bad ..but i just failed when making the sky..which make it looks so bad @_@
im still trying to color...the vast areas..like sky, etc... & still not do good
it seems so simple but to me its hard ...i dunno why

I can't see any sky but some very tiny piece above the grass. xD Did you cut off the bad-looking part, or what?
And if you mean the little piece of sky on that picture, then what are you saying about "fail"? xD The sky is white but that makes the scene look very light and warm. Nothing bad about that.
Areas with very clear colors are hard to do with watercolor, I know. *Same problem*
But there are little tricks. xD I often draw some foliage in the sky. That makes the picture appear kind of three-dimensional (because the viewer has the impression that there's a tree in front of the scene) - and besides it's way easier to paint the sky. xD And also the viewer doesn't pay that much attention on the sky, because there are leaves he can look at. (Same goes for some clouds)
If you want to draw a sky without clouds or leaves - then use some different colors. Let it be a sunset or something - watercolors are fine for that.
If you just want a blue sky, without clouds or leaves, then you could use another medium for the sky.

this piece i didnt do the sky..xDDD so i made the grass instead..to cover the BG xDDD
i mean.. i wanna spread the color on vast area..but failed =.=
especially to blend 1 color with other colors....
also..failed at making cloud eh =A=

But you won't get better at coloring skys that way, you know. xD

Oh, but you should definitely use the expensive watercolor-paper for wet in wet! xD
I'd say... It should have at least 300g/m². But I guess, the tut tells you so, too? = )

I think if I bought Pokemon black or white (and I most likely will >:3), I would choose oshawott as starter pokemon!
